"This was a last minute getaway and we were so satisfied. We booked through expedia so we had a VIP check in with champagne and a free upgrade to an Oceanview room. Lobby bar is only open til 11pm which was weird. To get the top shelf liquor you had to be privilege category. We were not, but we brought our own and added to their mixed drinks. "W have been to GR Solaris in the past, it is clean and the pool/entertainment area is great. The food - sometimes it was excellent, sometime the meat was dry and the carver's in the dining room did not seem to want to be there, I felt like I was intruding on them instead of being their customer. we did have one guy that carved and served that was nice, the rest not so much. "We stayed one night for a layover when travelling. Small room but clean and friendly staff. Pillow was not great for my girlfriend and the water was not very hot for a shower, but other than that good experience. Good, fresh breakfast in the morning!"
