This is a great little hotel about 10 minutes walk from the town centre (all uphill on the way home but a few beers from the night out makes it go quicker lol).

Would definitely stay here again the staff were lovely, made us feel very welcome. On day one we had an issue with our sink they went out and brought us bottled water and promptly fixed it. Room was a good size, clean and tidy.

Good budget hotel for families with kids

Good points: very clean, not far into centre, lounge where you can store fridge items and warm up ready meals, value for money for price we paid Bad points: lots of steps into town so if you have mobility issues would need to get taxis. Front and lounge door are constantly slammed which actually shook our ground floor room each time. Need some signs for other guests or mechanism on doors to stop this happening! Otherwise a good budget hotel/hostel that's more suited to families with kids

Awful shower didn’t work on the sat we had to go out for day without a shower the toilet seat broke on same day No one there to talk to had to keep ringing them to find out what was going on

Was initially unable to get in as no one answered the door. Room was dominated by the bed which was to large for the room. Bed was set up in the corner which is not convenient for 70 year olds. These problems aside it was ok for the money. Altercation in the car park on the first night between a drunk couple which got violent a Was also off putting.

The property was cheap and cheerful you get what you pay for. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The staff member i seen briefly on checking in was polite and friendly but didnt really see anyone during my stay.

Room was ok needs updating, sink taps need attention, cracks in sink and shower tray, but they didn't leak so that was good, perhaps they will get round to it as it looks like there doing bits to hotel.

Unfortunately the Hotel is situated uphill and it took me at least 20minutes to get to the harbour on foot, no local buses and I had to get Taxis back to hotel. Also which is not advertised, no alcohol to be consumed on premises.

Paper thin walls, creaky floorboards.violent guests..not to us but a fight in the next room at 2.30 am and other shouting at 4.30 am.Hardly any bedroom furniture, loose bathroom taps, but the bed was comfy and the room and linin clean. Will not return under any circumstances and would not recommend. This is more like a hostel than a hotel as there is nobody on site after about 11 pm
