"9/10 — A Hidden Gem in Lapu-Lapu
This hotel was honestly a hidden gem in Lapu-Lapu, and for the price, I was extremely impressed. The cleanliness was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, and because the building is still fairly new, the rooms, furniture, chairs, and common areas all feel fresh and well maintained.
The design is definitely interesting 😂. There isn't really one consistent theme throughout the hotel. At different points it feels Korean, Filipino, American, Thai, and a mixture of several other styles. The design doesn't necessarily flow together, but somehow that gives the hotel its own unique personality.
The rooftop was probably the biggest surprise. I would honestly come back just to have dinner there. The neon lights and overall atmosphere make it completely different from the typical hotel rooftop. If you're in Lapu-Lapu and just want somewhere different to eat and hang out, it's worth experiencing even if you're not staying overnight.
There are two negatives. Despite advertising itself as being near the airport, it's really not that close to the airport, so keep that in mind when booking. Also, my room only had one electrical outlet, which is inconvenient when you're trying to charge multiple phones, laptops, watches, or other devices.
Still, those issues don't outweigh the overall value. Between the cleanliness, great staff, new facilities, unique rooftop experience, and especially the price, I was extremely satisfied.
I'm staying again!"
"This was our first time here. We stayed one night to see if we like it. We liked it! The beautiful pool ( better if colder temperature) was huge! We liked the helpful staff. Prices for drinks were more expensive, but room rates were better to make up for it. Thank you !"
