"FANTASTIC location overlooking and with an easy walk to Skógafoss. The hotel is a bit tired though (in need of renovation) but clean, convenient and a nice restaurant on-site."

"My family had such an amazing stay we didn’t want to leave! Beautiful scenery and comfortable accommodations. It’s the perfect place to view the Northern Lights since there is limited light pollution. We also got a snow day which my kids loved. Thanks for having us! "
"Just an amazing spot. It is just like the pictures. Cozy, quiet and horses right outside. We were able to pick up some groceries in the nearby town and cook a nice dinner there with the well stocked kitchen. We stayed right up until checkout time because we didn’t want to leave.
It was a perfect place to spend our last night in Iceland!"

"This property was incredible and I wish we had booked more than one night here on our trip. We would have liked having one day to just slow down and enjoy the scenery and the calm atmosphere that is The Garage. Anna had fresh baked cookies for us as we arrived and it was just the most wonderful experience. The weather was wicked windy and Anna told us that we could stay until the break in the weather so we wouldn’t have to be out driving in unsafe conditions. 10/10 recommend and if/when I come back to Iceland, I WILL be staying here and for at least two nights!"
"The place was very clean and very close to Seljalandsfoss - a great place to stay if you’re touring the south coast. Staff was also very helpful - I left my earbud on the bed and they kept it for me to pick it up on our way back to Reykjavik x
Only complaint is the drain was quite smelly when we got in. Would be great if the staff could air the toilet a bit before the next guest!"
"This was such a cool little cottage! Just far enough away from the city but still close enough to restaurants and anything you might need. Beautiful waterfalls and other sites are just a short drive away! Kitchen had everything you might need for a few days and the beds in the bedroom were very comfy. The bed in the living room area was pretty hard but not unbearable. The shower water got warm immediately and water pressure was great. Highly recommend if you want to stay out of the city for a couple nights!!"
"The property is beautiful and extremely clean. The room we were in had a double bed and a king size bed. They were very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great. We enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast was much better than we expected! They had eggs and bacon and many types of pastries and cereal! Excellent stay in a quiet and convenient place. Close to Vik but far enough away to get quiet. A great place to see Northern Lights - but it was too cloudy for us to see any."
"We had a nice stay at Guesthouse Edinberg, room was clean, upstairs had refrigerator, kitchen with sink and stove top, comfortslve couches tables and chairs and an old galaxy game, no quarters needed. We needed code to get into our room which was provided to us in the message section of our hotel app. The listing says it would be emailed to us but that is where I found it. There were several other people arriving that did not receive their access code which caused a lot of stress. There is no reception desk at this property and no one answers the phone number provided. If this issue can be resolved it would have a much higher rating "
