stayed here twice now. apartments good ground floor with garden slightly bigger. had penthouse this year with roof terrace, views absolutely terrific, real shame that the owners had not thought to put any furniture up there, as that would have made it perfect. annoyed that we could not sit up there and watch the sunset with a glass of wine.
POsitioned on a hill overlooking Puerta La Duquesa, we loved the apartment. It was the most comfortable and well equipped apartment we have ever stayed in, with lovely sea views. Pool good - a bit breezy as on hillside - very cold as it was May but we still swam. Local area very pleasant. Easy reach of Gibraltar, Ronda (in the mountains, good beach at Sabinillas. Good selection of restaurants in La Duquesa. Would definitiely stay there again.
Fabulous hotel/condo. We travelled with our grown kids so there were four adults. The two bedroom unit had plenty of room. It was very clean, well-equipped, very well taken care of and it had a nice outdoor pool area. Although the condo isn't located right in town, it was nice to stay up on the hill. We had a car rental so it was easy enough to get to where we needed to for groceries, shopping, etc. We also had a nice view from our balcony of the Mediterranean. The only part that caused some confusion was the parkade and access to the building. Better instructions should be provided to renters. We highly recommend the facility to other travellers and we would definitely stay there again.
Voyage à deux début Octobre. Il nous a été difficile de trouver la résidence, arrivant en pleine nuit et les consignes et correspondants n'étant qu'en anglais. Mais à l'arrivée, très agréable surprise face à un grand appartement, très propre, originale décoration style japonnaise, du marbre au sol, couettes de qualité sur les lits, et des équipements très complets. Autre surprise de choix, une terrasse immense correspondant, sur le toit, à toute la surface de l'appartement. dans le réfrigérateur attendent eau, lait, bière, vin, beurre, pain de mie, confiture, saucisses et tout ce qu'il faut pour le petit déjeuner : on sent que les arrivées sont bien préparées ... Vue sur mer de face, piscine et jardin très bien entretenus, d'autant que seulement 3 ou 4 appartements étaient occupés. Rien de mensonger dans l'offre mais il est vrai, comme le disait un autre voyageur que l'on ne peut s'en sortir qu'avec l'anglais : tous les échanges avec le groupe qui gère la résidence ne connaissent que cette langue et pas l'espagnol ! A noter : vous pouvez faire appel à des "extras" si vous souhaitez du ménage ou bien un changement de linge. Les serviettes sont un peu insuffisantes et on aimerait trouver un bon peignoir. Etrange dans un 4 étoiles, pas de sèche cheveux.
