立地が最高です。食べに出掛けるにも飲みに行くのも 便利過ぎる。平日と週末の泊まりの料金が もう少し安ければ 毎回ここに泊まりたいくらい

Fantastic location in the heart of Kawaramachi.

Amazing location. Staff were very pleasant and professional and were always wearing a smile 😃 Appointments look a little dated, however, for this price point you can overlook that. Everything worked just fine as expected. Absolutely LOVED the late check out time (12:00). Too many places keep rolling back the time and has gone to 11 am and most now are 10 am. Those that are sensitive to outside noises will not like the sound of the revelers on the streets of Kawaramachi which go on into the wee hours of the morning. This is centrally located after all. You are within 3-5 minutes walking distances to all of the most delicious foods Kyoto has to offer, and many train and bus lines as well. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, book somewhere else. If you value convenience, variety, helpful staff and great price, this is your place. I’ll certainly be back.

Quirky hotel

Quirky hotel. Really modern lobby and corridors but room needs a bit of work. Saying that it was a comfortable bed and that’s pretty much all I needed. The room decor was a flowery pink wallpaper and there was even a VHS player in the room! my only criticism would be the shower. It’s not directly over the bath, it’s more like a wet room but the shower is to the side of the bath tub, makes it quite difficult. Great location, minutes from lively area with restaurants, bars and shops. Kyoto itself is a great place.

Very nice

The hotel was quiet and the room was spacious (we chose the bigger room size and it even had a sofa). The bed and pillows were a bit firm, but in Japan the pillows always seem to be too firm to my taste. The room seemed newly renovated. It was easy to increase and decrease the temperature in the room, but the bathroom was a bit cold. The location of the hotel was nice, with a small water course right across the street. The entrance of the hotel is in a small alley, so you need to turn a corner from the main street to find it. The staff was friendly.

入口が表通りではなく隠れた所にあり、ちょっと異様な感じです。部屋内では湯沸かしポットの上に埃が溜まっていて使いにくい感じでした。空調も古いようで動作音が気になりました。それに窓が異音を発して寝付きにくかった。

立地の良いホテル

先斗町の中央付近にあるので立地は非常に良い。ホテル設備は宿泊だけの目的としては問題ない。

Small tidy hotel, value for money near Gion Kyoto

We stayed in Kyoto for 4 nights, initially in the standard double before our bathroom light broke on the second night - they immediately upgraded us to the deluxe double for the rest. The rooms are identical except the deluxe is slightly bigger and better bathroom. The staff were excellent and can't be faulted. The location is good, in the heart of the "party" or club area - plus close to Gion and public transport.
