Breakfast consisted of packaged honey buns and donuts. Room smelled of old urine. Door did not close properly. Multiple doors were missing knobs/locks. We felt very unsafe and actually baracaded the door from the inside to attempt sleep. "Fitness Center" was a dingy, small room with 2 weights and 2 cardio options. Not usable. Lobby area was always dark and dingy. We were scheduled to stay for 2 nights and checked out after 1. Bed was old and sagging. Bathroom was small and stained. Water smelled like sulfur and we struggled to brush our teeth with the terrible taste. The ownership/management should be ashamed at the state of this property. They very clearly don't care about the building or the staff. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The stay was actually excellent, but there was something’s that needed improving. Some outlets didn’t work on top plugs, but the bottom one did. The remote wasn’t programmed for the tv. An seemed like it could use another light in the room cause it was awful dark when the 2 were on.

You know this is a hard one to rate the rooms were not to bad but the property was in need of some care. Everything I encountered could have been taken care of by staff the room was half clean the bathroom was horrible but the beds were nice and tidy.

This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I load a towel on the shelf above the toilet and one side fell off the wall, the paper holder was ready to fall. the shower had rust around the showerhead. The was mattress protector was yellow and fell apart when I pulled it back checking for bedbug.. thank goodness that was the only thing clean.

Overall, staff was great and place was fine. Water appeared to be hard and the red liquid coming out of the sink was unexpected. I think this would be fine if the water was just ran from time to time on a weekly basis.

The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating! With the property so close to the timeline between eastern and central, possibly list it's time zone. We arrived an hour early for check in after driving a very long time. The staff tried to find us another room, but it wasn't possible with our needs. The exterior of the building was not great, but that didn't affect the stay, weeds and broken building parts, nasty ashtray on top of the garbage can right outside the front door.

Everything was broken around the building, water smelt like eggs, our interaction with front desk wasn’t great upon checking in because the lady was rude, and it was super loud above us. We were given a handicap room without needing it and asked for a different room and the lady claimed they were fully booked.

Stay at your own risk

Needs renovations super old everything water stinks drywall has water damage in most of the rooms I’ve stayed in as I keep coming back to this place because of location. Towels are worn to the point that they barely dry you off. Just time for the owners to invest some of the money back into the property is really starting to feel like a sh-t hole.

You would be best served to move along

Those traveling through the area may be better served to move along to the next town instead of staying at this property. It’s the epitome of a low budget, rather sketch hotel. It reeks of mildew in the rooms, the staff is semi-lazy (or maybe bare minimum might be more fair). The grab-and-go breakfast doesn’t “come up” until 7 am so if you need to get an early start (I left at 6:30, as did multiple other guests) you won’t get anything to eat. The 1 K-cup coffee maker there had multiple bizarre tea selections but barely any regular coffee. The entire hotel is dated, tired, musty, and the drive into the parking lot looks like it got hit by meteorites. Check the suspension on your vehicle when you leave. There are better places in Watseka to the west, and likely all directions from this place.

Scared to close my eyes there

The room was not clean. There was a used wet washcoth in the bathtub. The light was about to fall out in the bathroom. The exhaust fan did not work. The doors were jammed. The bedding comforter had stains all over it. Holes with terrible patching in the walls. Not ada friendly as no elevator had to walk up steps. It was quiet. From the road to the parking lot had very baf potholes and a lot of water to get through.

Very remote but it was convenient only 15 mins from work. Only thing around is a McDonald',Dollar General, and 2 gas station. One complaint I have about this place. The water has a very distinguished foul smell & taste, like there is bad gas from human waste contaminating the clean water or possibly waste water back flowing into the clean water.
