das Hotel war insgesamt gut aber nicht hervorragend. Die Ausstattung nach unseren bisherigen Hotel-Erfahrungen mittelmäßig. Der Frühstücksraum und das Buffet war gut. Auch die Sauna, das Schwimmbad und die momentanen Regelungen dazu fanden wir ebenfalls gut. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Es fehlte eine Bar im Hotel, wo man am Abend gemütlich sitzen und was trinken konnte.

Very unique area close to Trier on the Mosel river. Just a few Km from Luxembourg. Hotel is diectly next to a Unesco Heritage site of a Roman ruin. Nice attached restaurant but limited menu. Bathroom did not have good lighting. We were not able to use, but hotel has a nice indoor pool and sauna. Parking in front and across the street was nice.

Die Zimmer sind einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Zur Strassenseite ist sehr starker Verkehrslärm, da direkt an der Haupstrasse gelegen. Nur mit geschlossenem Fenster zu ertragen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war lecker und völlig ausreichend.

Prima hotel, maar let op kamertype

Prima en gunstig gelegen hotel. Nette kamers, welke niet heel ruim zijn. Let op als je een comfortkamer boekt, het enige verschil is dat deze kamer aan de achterzijde ligt. Kamers zijn indentiek aan een standaard kamer, wat op de foto's niet blijkt bij hotels.com. Het hotel ligt aan een doorgaande weg naar Trier, waar ook vrachtverkeer langs rijdt. Dit kan storend zijn, indien het raam open staat. Het hotel heeft geen airco, waardoor het erg warm op de kamer kan zijn. Ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en ruime keuze. Ook is de ontbijtruimte zeer ruim. Het hotel heeft ook een prima restaurant, waar wij ook heerlijk hebben gegeten. Prijzen zijn ook gunstig. Ook heeft dit een hotel een aparte bar en een ruim terras. Het zwembad is helaas niet verwarmd, waardoor het water erg koud is. Wifi is ook prima. De eigenaar spreekt ook vloeiend Engels, mocht de Duitse taal wat minder beheerst zijn. Aan de overkant van het hotel is een garage aanwezig, waar wij onze motoren mochten stallen. Erg fijn ! Al met al een prima verblijf gehad en komen zeker terug als we hier weer zijn.

Hotel was a nice quiet place with clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was really good with typical German cuisine. Great coffee! Beds are a little too firm for our tastes but our kids thought they were fine. Located on a busy road within about 15-20 minutes of the Black Gate. Good pizza and kabob place two minute walk away. Didn’t eat the at the hotel restaurant, so I can’t vouch for the quality or length of the menu.

2 day stay, Free parking just opposite the hotel (don't arrive too late), good reception, nice room, convenient and good restaurent, and after that you can finish your evening in the sauna

The rooms are clean and functional, unfortunately we were in a room facing the road and it was a hot night, which meant a choice between lots of traffic noise and less heat or less traffic noise and more heat. A fan in the room would have been a good idea. Excellent dinner in the restaurant and at a very reasonable price too. Breakfast was very good too.

Mooie kamers, Super eten en vriendelijk personeel

Wij zijn 1 nacht geweest voor overnachting op onze doorreis. Wat een vriendelijke mensen. Goed eten in het restaurant en het ontbijt buffet was zeer uitgebreid. Wij hadden een familie kamer geboekt en waren aangenaam verrast. Groot en zeer comfortabel. Een echte aanrader.

Ligger otroligt tråkigt vid en trafikerad väg. Inga restauranger i närheten, vi åt på hotellet. Trevlig servitör och god mat. Dock tråkig frukostbuffet. Poolen uppskattades av våra barn. Vi bodde i familjerum där ena rummet var renoverat, medan det andra var lite mer sunkigt. Vår rum låg ovanpå restaurangen vilket innebar att grillos välde in i rummet - äckligt! Brandlarmet gick också på kvällen vilket gjorde barnen lite oroliga. Skulle inte rekommendera detta hotell, ett av de sämre vi bott på.

I chose this hotel for our 4 days stay during our wine road trip as a base. It has good location in region among winerys and sights. Hotel itself je really basic but everything is maintained and clean, its better to prefer Comfort room, because it more quiet. From hotel with own kitchen I would expected more inspiring breakfast especiali in pastry and bread selection. Restaurant was fine, but be careful what you order, German cuissin is not syple and too much ingredients does not alwas mean the best meal. I would reccomend this place for very nice and helpful staff which gave us nice overview about things to do in area. After our visite in Trier, we were glad for this choice in more guiet location.

Studieresa med företaget. Vi var 10 pers som reste ihop. Hotellet fungerade helt OK
