Hotel Emblemático San Agustín

This is a lovely hotel in a small, quiet town. (Issues with Expedia regarding the booking, never again, but not the hotel's issue). The hotel looks very ordinary from the outside, however once inside the building opens up to to a beautiful Canarian courtyard with fountain. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good choice on the menu and the waitresses are very friendly and smiley (breakfast is also served until 11 am! Fantastic!) The hotel offers a small complimentary selection of food and drinks throughout the day, and we thought the free local wine was a lovely touch! There was also coffee/tea etc. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was warm and comfortable despite the colder weather. The town itself is very quiet, with most bars shutting around 9pm. The famous Dragon tree is just around the corner from the hotel. For services, this hotel is first class and a lot of other hotels in the Canaries could learn from how this place is run. The town itself was a little quiet for us but the hotel was one of the best we've stayed in.

This little hotel has everything you need. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a perfect for guests who plan on hiking during the day and coming back for a happy hour drink.
