We are frequent guests of the Victor as we have family in the area and are consistently happy with its offering. The updated rooms are spacious and very clean, breakfast is good (the team also caters for guests with gluten and dairy intolerance) and the front of house team is welcoming and lovely to work with. On the very rare occasion that a problem arose with a room this was always dealt with promptly and in a very professional manner. Recommended.

I appreciate how clean and quiet this place is, and that it has good internet as well as a comfy bed and a spacious room. The location is also great in walkable distance from the rail station and city dentre near to the places where I needed to be.

Best points - breakfast buffet was nicely done and offered good choices. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Less good - The restaurant is closed on the weekends except for breakfast. Many outlets but old style round. You need outlet adapters to fit inside a round outlet. Too warm in room even with window open - no AC

This was the second time we stayed at the Victor and we were as pleased with our second stay as we were with the first. The newly renovated room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. If we were to make a suggestion then it would be to make the room lighting a little brighter. Breakfast was good and the staff were very happy to cater for my husband's dietary requirements (gluten and dairy free). Our compliments to the staff generally who were without exception very professional, friendly and helpful.

Die schönen Fotos entsprechen nicht annähernd der Wahrheit. Lobby schön und wertig, Personal am Empfang wirkte ebenfalls professionell und sehr freundlich. Ab Flur zu den Zimmern ändert sich das jedoch extrem. Wirkt herunter gekommen und halb herzig in stand gehalten (Flecken an den Wänden, teilweise extrem schlampig nachgebessert) . Zimmer waren dann aber die Krönung. Teppichboden total verdeckt und runtergekommen, Wlan Katastrophe, sehr alter TV und total verdeckte Fernbedienung, Bad uralt, Bett naja, Kissen furchtbar. Für das Geld noch dazu eine Frechheit.

Das Hotel und das Zimmer an sich super toll eingerichtet und sauber, die Fugen in der Dusche allerdings schimmlig.. Spontan Essen gehen auf einem Samstag Abend im Dezember unmöglich, da alles durch Weihnachtsfeier voll war. Service an der Rezeption ganz lieb. Pluspunkte für die Autostation am Eingang mit Enteiserpray :-)
