The Guest House 1 (TGH1) overbooked my wife's and my Standard Twin Room reservation via Expedia website for 3 nights. Dan, the TGH1 manager, blamed Expedia website because they do not work directly with the site. TGH1 should ensure that they properly coordinate with booking websites to avoid overbooking. Dan suggested that we spend our time on The Guest House 2 (TGH2) because they do not have available rooms at TGH1. He stated it was close to TGH1 but in reality it was far and it will take us around 13 minutes to get there by walking from TGH1. We reserved a Standard Twin Room which has 2 twin beds but when we arrived on TGH2 it was a small room with a queenish size bed. This space is different from the pictures posted online. After spending 1 night at TGH2, we requested to Dan to be transferred to TGH1 on their Standard Twin Room and he agreed. The Standard Twin Room was more spacious, has a sturdier bed etc. Also, TGH1 has free hot water, coffee and tea. I recommend staying at TGH1 but only at TGH1 not TGH2. TGH1 also arranged our Canyoneering activity. My wife and I paid ₱1,400 for each person. Our Canyoneering trip went smoothly and spectacular. When I asked one of their staff for some ice on plastic bag to put on my foot because it hurt after Canyoneering, they gave me a plastic full of ice cubes twice, immediately. Excellent customer service.
