I wish my review could be better

Let me start by saying that the best thing about this hotel was Kim. She was helpful and informative, and it wasn't for her, I probably would have left after one night. There was another lady on staff, later in the day that we had checked in. She blamed me and my husband for the flood that the refrigerator made in our room. We tried to explain to her that we had just gotten to our room, as it wasn't ready earlier in the day (as we arrived early). She didn't seem to believe us. I cleaned up the flood, and it seemed an issue to ask her for new towels. Also, you cannot get ice here - - so our drinks were alway warm. The beds were not comfortable, nor were the pillows or other furniture in the rooms. Beautiful/eclectic/antique - - but not comfortable. The heat was up so very high, and we had no way of regulating it. So high, that the floor heat in the bathroom actually hurt the bottom of bare feet, and radiated through socks and slippers too.

Müze bölgesinde sakin güzel bir butik

Otel müze bölgesinde müzeler yürüyerek 10 dakika Leidsplein 20 dakika, Dam meydanina 40 dakika. Önünden 2 nolu tramvay geçiyor bu şekilde de merkezlere ulaşım sağlanabiliyor. Otel tarihi bir bina ve az sayıda odası bulunuyor, odalar lüks rahat ve konforlu ancak biz yılbaşında gittik ve bizim için biraz soğuktu oda. Otelin lobisi ve restoranı yok doğal olarak otelle ilişki odaya gir çık şeklinde oluyor. Kahvaltı içinde bir kafeyi öneriyorlar. Yürüyerek 2-3 dakikalık bir mesafede kafe ve restoranların bulunduğu bir sokak var. Kalabalıkları ve gürültüyü sevmeyenler ve çiftler için daha uygun. Turistik yerlerde çok dolaşırım, kalabalıktan yana sıkıntım yok, eğlenceye yakın olmak istiyorum diyorsanız daha merkezi yerleri tercih edebilirsiniz. Personeli cok canayakın ve her zaman yardımcı olmaya çalışıyorlar. Gene de otelin mobil no’sunu kaydedin ne olur ne olmaz.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous customer service

Had the most wonderful stay here - Kim was so helpful and really went above and beyond with nothing too much trouble. She helped with getting around, tickets and trips - and was so flexible when we had some flight difficulties! The room and facilities were excellent - so comfortable, clean and spacious. I can't recommend Museum Suites enough.

Intimate to Art

The hotel is very small with just 4 rooms, so it is a very intimate feel. It is also very close to the art museum area. It was very convenient and very cozy.

My favorite in Amsterdam, off the beaten path

This is the second time I have stayed at Museum Suites and if you enjoy staying in the museum area, with all the arts and also small stores (bakeries, deli/butchers, etc), restaurants and coffee shops (real ones, not the "other kind") at your convenience, I would certainly recommend it. It is an intimate boutique hotel with plenty of style, in an unassuming but beautiful traditional brownstone row house. Very private and off the beaten tourist path, yet only a 5 minute walk from Museum Square and the Concertgebouw, and not much further from the PC Hooftstraat (the Madison Ave of Amsterdam).

Home away from home in Amsterdam

Museum Suites was FANTASTIC! Kim was a great host! Rooms were large, very quite and well appointed. Location is great close to museums, large park, good restaurants and high fashion shopping. Will definitely be back when in Amsterdam.

The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in!

This hotel was the most beautiful I have ever stayed in. Not just because of its interior, everything from check-in, help during our stay, the bed, the windows, the fireplace, the BATH!!! I fell in love with our room. It was just outside the hustle of Amsterdam which we wanted, but very close to walk to everything. Without a doubt, we will stay here again for our next trip to Amsterdam. Thank you so much!

Great stay. Beautiful room and neighborhood. Quiet and family friendly. Just be aware that there are no elevators or air conditioning but we didn't miss either even with a toddler.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Amsterdam

I find the ladies very kind and helpful, they pay attentions to any details. The room was very large, comfortable.They are all fluent in English. The room was very clean. All attractions and the city historic centre was in walking distance. The bus 197 takes you from Schiphol airport to the doorstep of the museums, which is about 300 meters from the Museum suites. Then nespresso machine was a plus.

Perfect!

Beautiful, unique boutique suites - excellent value for money and in a really great location. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. Our room was simply stunning, with its own private balcony. Location was perfect, in a gorgeous local area with great cafe's and bars, a stroll to the museums and park and with the tram running right past the front door to take you to the canals. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to plan the next trip to Amsterdam, I won't be staying anywhere else!

Best Hotel of our 21 days trip to Europe!

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. It is in a perfect location in Amsterdam. The rooms are beautifully appointed and immaculate. The staff is top notch. No request is to big or small for them. When we left the hotel, it felt like we were leaving family.

Perfect location in Amsterdam

Perfectly located close to the major museums, this boutique hotel is a 20 minute walk to Dam Square and close to good, non-touristy restaurants. The room was very large and beautifully furnished and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I would recommend the Museum Suites without hesitation.

Museum Area Masterpiece

Very good location, outstanding service and personal attention, and a large room with a patio balcony! Rate was fair for the area and as long as you get the travel card for bus and metro, you are all set! Very close to Museum area and Voldenam Park. One note.. no A/C but fan and patio ok for me. Host handled baggage up stairs but stairs are narrow (older home) so be careful. This is a modernized older home with great bathroom and atmosphere! Annamarie and Kim were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

We had breakfast at a cafe, 2 min walk from hotel. It was lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by. Stayed on the Mondrian Suite, where the bed was super comfy. Staff were veryfriendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, clean hotel

This place was wonderful! The ladies, and Kim, were so great, so eager to help us make our stay in Amsterdam wonderful. I'm pretty picky about cleanliness at hotels, this place was so clean!! It was a pretty old building, steep stairs, smaller rooms and bathrooms, but they had obviously updated the things that mattered and kept the charm and historical stuff. The floors were re-done and the bathrooms were upgraded. The kitchenette in our room was really small, but functioned very well. Only suggestion I would have for this place would be to replace the microwave in the room we stayed in... it was pretty sketchy. The location was pretty good. Bit of a walk to the main city attractions, just under 10 to the museums, and maybe 20 to Anne Frank and the Castle. But you were right around the corner from Vondelpark which was gorgeous.

Refined and sumptuous, perfect location

Stayed in the Rembrandt Suite while visiting Amsterdam for a recital at the Concertgebouw. Warm and friendly reception that not only introduced us to the hotel itself but pinpointed a number of restaurants that matched our tastes and would be able to provide dinner in time to make it to the recital. The location is ideal for visiting the museums and Concertgebouw - no more than 5 minutes away by foot. Bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful - traditional high ceilings with extensive windows, light and spacious. Bed was wonderfully comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very comfortable convenient boutique hotel

Museum Suites is a comfortable boutique hotel located in a quieter area but on a tram line and a short work to Museumplein. Room was large and well appointed. Staff were extremely welcoming and keen to ensure a comfortable stay. Tourist advice and bookings were readily provided. Museum Suites Hotel is a peaceful haven when Amsterdam's hustle and bustle gets too much. As hotel is in an historic building, it is necessary to climb stairs to the rooms, However, staff will handle the luggage.

Mostly very good

This is a converted house on a street with a tramline which means some noise at the front. There was a lot of space with a kitchenette and living room. There was some light shining into the bedroom from the hallway which needs to be fixed. This place is near good restaurants and the museums.

ISE visit

I stayed for two nights during my trip to ISE. I cannot praise highly enough, Kim was fantastic and very welcoming. The accommodation was incredible, spotlessly clean and the breakfast was fantastic. I would stay again on any visit to the RAI or Amsterdam itself.
