"Very spacious room, bed soft but still very comfortable. Quiet air conditioning. Did not try their breakfast. Loved the free coffee, snacks, juices, popsicles. Convenient area , supermarket next door, family mart across the street. We liked the pyjamas so much that we bought a set. Highly recommended place to stay. "

"We stayed for 5 nights after a trans pacific flight. Location was amazing - 15 minutes walking to 3 stops. The tea service in the afternoon was lovely. Wish we had done the Japanese breakfast option more. Beds we're comfortable and staff was friendly. Great bathroom amenities and black out blinds. Shower was fine. I would stay here again - easy transport everywhere."

"The hotel is superb la!!! 1. Parking very convenient next door 2. Location 100/100 to be next to Kyoto Tower, rented our Kimono there and walkable to beautiful temple and places! 3. The onsen is good too, I particularly like the one with ice neck rest, 10-20mins only. 4. BREAKFAST is the highest standard for Japanese breakfast! Has Sashimi and all options! 5. Evening supper 9-11pm Ramen is good too, hearty Not so good part: abit tooooo crowded and packed and touristy, and the shoe area can stink quite abit tbh.. "

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise after staying at a more expensive hotel in the heart of Shibuya. APA Gion is located in a prime location with many walkable historical landmarks, outdoor markets, and premium dining and shopping areas. The rooms look brand new and ours featured a king sized bed (rare in Japan), built-in desk, dining table and bench area. Yes, the bathrooms are small but they are very clean and convenient. Lots of toiletries are provided inside your room as well as a fridge, kettle, Starbucks Keurig type machine which they provided daily pods for as well as clean robes, and slippers. The staff was super friendly and spoke English, and offered pre and post checkin/checkout luggage hold. Would definitely stay here again!"
