Had a wonderful stay at the Gion Elite Terrace! Lots of great amenities (the washing machines and dryer were lifesavers) and the super friendly staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, offering recommendations, arranging for taxis, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property with a super spacious room! The staff were so kind and accommodated our late check-in. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great stay. Comfortable beds, clean space, and the kitchenette is a nice touch. Taxi drivers do struggle to find the small street, though, so be prepared to show them a map of the navigation, if you’re not using an app taxi service. Nice Sri Lankan food in the cafe, too.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was by far the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at. Our room included a private bath, garden, and sauna—it felt like our own little sanctuary. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and every detail of the room was beautifully designed. We especially appreciated the complimentary coffee, matcha, and other thoughtful touches. They even gifted us a beautiful locally made tote bag that supports a great cause—such a special gesture. We truly wish we had stayed longer and highly, highly recommend this hotel.
