"We stayed for a family vacation to NYC. The hotel was in a very convenient location, clean, attached restaurant/bar, and extremely friendly & helpful staff! "

"Very nice hotel, modern, clean and awesome location (subway entrance is on the same block, a few steps from the hotel). The room was a bit small, but typical for NY. I personally only need a place to sleep and shower. The bathroom/shower was nice and clean. The bed had a bit of a slope, but you can find that even in high-end hotels. The breakfast was really good and worth it. I had read some reviews about the elevators being really busy because of the rooftop bar. I did see outside people going to the rooftop and rode the elevator with some, but it was never too busy or an issue. Overall, great hotel!"

"This was my 3rd stay at The New Yorker. It's a popular choice for many reasons but mainly because it's walkable to many destinations in the city and if not, the subway is either across W34th at Penn Station or down 8th at Herald Square. My room - particularly the bed - was very comfortable and had everything I needed. I'd only suggest that a review be given to update it - another outlet, smaller desk, mounted TV - would help make the room more spacious and contemporary. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with a hotel that gets it so right."
