"Loved it, felt like a real local. Washer was a plus and included detergent! Fast responses and overall a great stay :) 9.8/10 a little bit dusty specifically the top of air conditioner but hey, it’s an older place, it was expected and part of the vibe. Recommend if you want to stay in a more traditional place hence the name of the place. "

"This house was great. Located right next to the palace grounds. Just a walk to some good dining. A grocery store just around the corner. Easy access to bus stops to get around town. I could not possibly pick a better place to stay. "

"This is the second time I wrote the review for this guesthouse. My first review for Micasa was gone when I click the send button, but I want to finish writing the review to let more people know Micasa and how good this place is. The facilities are very new. "We booked a large four-bed room at Hotel Emion in Kyoto. It was perfect for our family - room was super spacious and comfortable. The hotel’s in a really convenient spot too. There's a small JR line from the airport that connects straight to Kyoto Station and was wheel chair friendly. The public baths were clean and were mostly empty (surprising). There’s also a vending machine in the hotel, plus a 7-Eleven right next door. There are also a few restaurants inside the hotel. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back!"
