"I went during the end of March. It was so packed because of spring break. Lots of families and college kids. There was a small older crowd too. But overall we had a blast. The entertainment could have been better during the day and night for the adults. But food was great. And there were plenty of options for swimming pools. I would definitely go back to this resort. It is my favorite resort I’ve been to in the Caribbean. I don’t think I would go back during spring break (March/April) to avoid the adolescents. 10/10 resort! "

"I recently stayed at Tropical Hotel in Punta Cana, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. It was not working properly in my room, and even after requesting a room change, the problem continued. This made the stay extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, the food quality was poor. The banquet options were very limited, and the menu was repetitive — it felt like the same meals were being served every day, with little variety or freshness. And nor WiFi even when I paid $12 more The amenities were just okay, nothing special or worth highlighting. Overall, the hotel did not meet my expectations at all. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again."

"Room was modern and spacious. Staff was courteous. Pools were nice plenty of loungers could have more entertainment at the pools. Restaurants were excellent, buffet was average no labels for food, room service was terrible food quality and the menu was not great. The grounds were nice alot of greenery. Could have more night entertainment options. Drinks were average. "

"Everything at this resort has been a 5 star. I had my own personal “butler” with whom I communicated via WhatsUp!!! Everything I needed from extra towels, scheduled activities, booking dinner reservations was done in an instant. Raphael Peguero has been amazing. I never needed to call front desk. Raphael did everything for me. He even gave me a bag full of snacks for our flight back. I would definitely recommend Family Selection at Grand Palladium Bavaro!!! "

"Our sheets in our room weren’t clean, our shower had no hot water . Changed rooms and was better . Beach and kids water slide area were great. Trolley ride was always available. . The property itself was well maintained . Food was okay. Kids buffet was where I would eat to get good food. "

"In general its an okay place for a low budget family or couple, the reception was friendly and efficient, transportation and baggage handeling too the room was excellent, I did t touch my bags until I was in the room. The room was a whole different story, first I noticed the air conditioning felt moist, it wasnt good cooling unit, there was black mold in the A/C vent directly above the bed and never really cooled the room well. Tje room was very clean but the bed covering always felt wet or damp from the A/C. The room cleaning staff was awesome!!! They did a wonderful job but you may need to ask for fresh towels on occasion. They had no transportation from or too tje airport so expect an expensive taxi ride both ways. Now to the buffet..... it will sustain life, its decent for the price but not the best food compared to many other resorts Ive been too, of course they all cost more than this resort. Do not drink tje water!!! The resort stocks your room with plenty of bottled water!! The bars on the resort are decent although the bar tenders work on "Island time" so they dont hurry up for anyone regardless of tips. Over all I would say this is a good resort for familys on a budget and couples who are on a budget, its definetly not for singles unless you want to be lonely. There was absolutely no drama, loud noise or crazy party people anywhere on the resort, it was very peaceful and calm."
