"This hotel, even if it is renovated, is not 5 stars, the cleanliness in the rooms could be better, the food was not tasty and was the same every day, the waiters and those who served are all asleep, they do not work with pleasure, they just wait for you to leave them a tip, but even when you leave them a tip, they still do not serve you properly. All the dishes at the bar were so terrible, they did not even wash them properly, I saw this in my eyes. I would not pay that much money for such service."

"The staff were outstanding. Altagracia at the buffet is a lovely and kind woman. Ery and his colleagues at the bar by the pool were very welcoming. The property is a bit quiet, but that’s what I wanted for my trip. A wonderful vacation. "

"The resort is family friendly. Upon arriving, the staff were very welcoming. Just be aware that they will ask you to spend at least 90 minutes the next morning after breakfast for Royal Vacation Club, basically a timeshare thing. We spent more than that time and they tried to convince us to sign up but at the end, we were not interested and we really needed to attend back with our kids. We reserved a family suite with a shared pool that is right outside. It appeared clean and it was very nice that they provided us plenty of water bottles, towels and goodies. I just wished they have hooks to hang up wet bath towels and bigger garbage cans since we have 3 kids. The buffet meals were pretty decent with different varieties every day. The tranporter to go to the beach was also very convenient. Another major issue that we had was when we needed someone to unclog our toilet, it took over an hour waiting. The 3rd time my husband went to ask where was the plumber, they told him that he was eating. We were not happy about that because my kids and I needed to shower after we were in the pool. We couldn't shower because originally they told us that the plumber was coming within 15 mins and the shower wall was transparent. But otherwise, we would still recommend it for families because overall, my kids had a great time with the pools and the lovely beach."

"A must stay resort! I was very impressed with the property. Absolutely beautiful place. The staff was were always so friendly everywhere you went on the property. Rooms were always clean. Food was actually very good! No complaints. One minor issue, when we arrived to our room we realized our phone did not work....unfortunately we had to go to reception desk every single day to ask for a new phone. Receptionist always called someone and they would send a guy to fix it the next day..Never did. Went the whole week without a working phone. The night before our departure we had to physically make a reservation for luggage pickup in the morning. Thankfully the 2 workers came that morning to retrieve our luggage. Overall, our experience was lovely. We will definetly come back to this resort"

"Rooms were clean. The property was well maintained. All the food options were very good. The beach was beautiful! The only 2 negative comments I have are, We paid for the VIP service, which was not cheap, and there were several things on the list that we did not receive. I told guest services everyday and they just brushed off. That was irritating. Second, all the beach chairs were taken or “reserved” first thing in the morning and they would run out of loungers by 9am. Luckily we were able to snag a big 2 person sun bed with our VIP bracelets but I saw a lot of people very irritated. "
