"The room is kept clean, except for some mildew in the shower. Staff and customer service is excellent. Considering the price of breakfast, it is just right (combination of Chinese/Filipino/Continental). I would recommend it if the street car noise doesn’t bother you. The streets get busy starting at 5 am."

"This was NOT the hotel I meant to stay in. I was booking for Holiday Inn & Suites at Glorietta in Makati and somehow booked to the one in Quezon City. (1st problem) The staff were polite and professional; however, they have their work cut out for them in a hotel that obviously is WAY overdue for a remodel. The rooms were outdated. The carpet was worn and stained. The bathroom was dark and the falling apart. The door frames showed obvious signs of water damage. Nonetheless, since we had prepaid AND were only staying for one night, we could tough it out. Then came the breakfast buffet. It had a large selection of items for every palate. And we were quickly sat. However, when I went to grab the serving spoon for the white rice. There was a huge black roach that came out from under it and then ran onto the rice. I went to grab some bread, same thing, except multiple roaches. I simply went back to my table. My wife asked what's wrong. I told her. She asked if I told the staff and then she promptly got up to verify what I saw, which she did, and confronted the staff. They said, "I tried to catch the ipis (roach) but he was too fast and got away. Then one of the cooks came out to refill the fresh fruit bowl with watermelon etc. He poured the remaining fruit into a new bowl and headed for the prep area near the omelet station to get some more. As he walked that way, he stuck the serving spoon into his mouth. And put it back into the bowl. I cannot recommend staying here."
