"The service was exceptional at this resort. Everyone we came into contact with were so welcoming and friendly. Housecleaning arrived daily to refreshen the room, and the mini fridge was restocked daily. The entire property was spotless and well maintained. The only improvements we suggest would be the food and drinks. The Italian restaurant was terrible, and the steak restaurant was just so so. We’re typically not buffet people, but it was the only option that was palatable for us. The sushi restaurant was good. There’s really not much of a beach to speak of, but the close proximity to 5th street was extremely convenient to shop and dine at the 100 plus restaurants. This was overall a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation."

"I liked the hotel. They cleaned it every morning while I was away and it was nice to come in and it look spotless. And it’s right by the beach and close to pretty much everything. It’s walking distance to the ferry’s and the shopping plaza. They have a desk there with people who will sell your tours at good prices. Ask for the salesperson Enrique he was amazing and made sure everything went smoothly with the tours we bought. There is air conditioning, friendly staff. Only issue was that you would have to unplug the WiFi and reconnect it in order to get back onto their internet if you left the premises. But it’s ok it wasn’t a big deal and was easy. "

"​I can't praise the Reef 28 enough! Upon arrival Alejandro offered us a few incentives if we sat through a 90 minute 'timeshare' kinda sales pitch... 30 minute massage; 2 spa passes; access to 2 other Reef Resorts and free private transfer to the airport (we were flying out of Cancun). Agreed to go and it was WORTH IT! more about this later Expedia Gold Membership got us an upgrade to a corner suite - The suite is bigger than my apartment! Walked into a huge table with seating for 8; Kitchenette; Living Room with big screen TV; a full bathroom and balcony. Then we walked into our bedroom: another full bathroom; king size bed; jacuzzi tub; big screen TV; radio; safe; iron; hair dryer and another balcony (same balcony; it wraps around the entire suite - absolutely amazing!) Next morning; breakfast with Donaciano; Noemi and the rest of the crew - fantastic energy; easy going (absolutely lovely people). Fruits; breakfast parfaits; pastries; breads; western and traditional mexican dishes and the omelette station - Martha's is a freaking wizard of the grill; had one everyday"

"I had a great stay overall. The pool is amazing, and I really appreciated that my room was cleaned daily with fresh towels consistently provided. The staff was very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The room itself, especially with the kitchen and balcony, was fantastic and added a lot of comfort to my stay. There were a couple of minor drawbacks: the shower water pressure was a bit low, and the curtains didn’t fully block out the outside light. Aside from these small issues, everything else was excellent, and I would definitely consider staying here again."
