"This was my 4th visit to Sofia & as usual, the staff was absolutely wonderful. The room/unit was bright & clean & equipped enough supplies to enjoy a nice cup of tea/coffee on the balcony each morning. Unfortunately, the elevator malfunctioned at the midway point of my stay & remained out of order until check out.. Walking up "

"We went to stay at El Taj from May 7 to May 15. The property is beautiful and quiet. We booked a 2 bedroom with rooftop area. We BBQd a few times and relaxed in the shaded pallapa. I made friends with the Turtle, so that was cool. We booked our trip during Sargassum season so of course the beach was unaccessible and stinky, no fault of the hotel. Many people worked long hours everyday trying to keep up with cleaning the beach. The staff was so accommodating, giving us beach chairs cooler, towels and umbrella and a ride to and from a great beach close by. Shout out to Eric and Elijardo(?, sorry if i messed up the name), the Bellmen who took great care of us. I would stay again, just earlier in the year! "

"Location is good. It's a basic place, but worth for the price. And there's no Laundry service in the hotel. We have to go outside for Laundry. Overall it's a good place to stay. "

"A/C, bed, linens, shower, TV, room service breakfast, view, quietness all very good. If it wasn't for the seaweed issue I would up the rating but I knew it was happening. A little difficult to find on foot from the ADO bus station. I would say it was good value and enjoyable."
