"We stayed for a few days in February and could not have been happier with the entire experience, from check-in to our unfortunate back-to-reality departure! We loved the pool area and especially loved the location of the hotel in downtown Playa. We did hear music on the weekend evenings but with earplugs or our little handheld sound machine, we were absolutely fine. We will stay here again!"

"NO BEACH!!!!! Poor selection of food, cheap alcohol!!! Rooms are ordinary, if you enjoy swimming in chlorine and drink cheap mixed cocktails, this is your place!!! Stuff is not helpful, management is careless, and it’s not my business that this place changed ownership last fall. YOU don’t have to trust my opinion, but if you would like to find out in a hard way, please purchase this horrible resort and reply to my review after your visit. By the way, there is no entertainment either, this place dies at 10 PM and you have to look for entertainment outside of this “wonderful” resort."

"Probably the worst hotel I stayed at. First it is located on the main street so there is noise all day and night. Second they have a bar at the top of the hotel that can play loud music until 2am. Third, they gave me a room just behind the reception and the staff is always talking with people or on the phone constantly, even at night. When you ask kindly to keep it down, they still continue. Basically, if you want to sleep, dont go there. I asked for another room but they said all the rooms were occupied, which was a lie. The saff is super rude and dont care about the clients. When you ask to talk to the manager, they say no. They dont clean the room during your stay. The room is very basic, bed was ok but shower was leaking, the sink faucet was broken. Well nothing was ok with this hotel, look away and find a decent one! But this is not where you want to sleep!"

"This hotel overall was great: location is fantastic, the rooftop pool is amazing, staff are very friendly and helpful! The buffet breakfast was lovely too, a good selection of food & drinks. The food in the restaurant in the rooftop was also lovely - the shrimp tacos were a real highlight! Generally had a great stay. Two things that I took into account when giving 4 stars instead or 5: a small bottle of water (not even 500ml) in the restaurant in the rooftop costs around £4 which feels extortionate. Secondly, we booked a “courtyard view” room, however we’re placed in a room on the ground floor behind the lifts which meant we had no view, a window we couldn’t open and a generally dark room that smelled damp. When we asked it we could change our room, we were told they’d get back to us, which they didn’t. When we followed up, they said they couldn’t move us. We felt like the room, although spacious, wasn’t great - and it’s a shame customer service wasn’t the best on this point when we raised it. "
