The premises were beyond our expectations: beautifully appointed historic home set on an idyllic point above an 180 degree view from the San Gabriel Mountains to the skyscrapers of DTLA. "We paid $55.10 for the breakfast which was very basic and dry. The upkeep of the breakfast was horrible we had told the staff that there was no more oatmeal and she said she refilled it which when we looked it was a quarter to empty and looked like she just added water. Juices were not refilled for the hotel guests. This is a breakfast that should be free and not 15.99 per guest with the quality and upkeep."

"We had an awesome stay our room was clean and ready when we arrived around 12noon!!! The staff was super friendly considering we have a very chatty 3yr old… The balcony was awesome with large windows. The restaurant by the pool was great and staff was so nice. I have been to a few steak houses in my day for a hotel restaurant it was cooked perfectly. Anyhow we would absolutely stay here again. "

"I had a handicap room on the 2nd floor. The pillowcases had an old smell as so did the bed. The room my daughter stayed in was room 217. She had a street view which she stated that she didnt care as she was in the room only 2 days that week. The staff was extremely pleasant, food there was costly. It would have been great if there was a shuttle to LAX, but completely understood the traffic. "
