"My wife and I were doing a meandering drive from Ottawa to Montreal. We made a last-minute decision to stay here, grabbing the last room available. We knew it was a remote location, so our expectations were not high.
Owner Dominic, however, has created a jewel along the Ontario side of the Ottawa River that I highly recommend for lodging and, more importantly, the food!

"Reactive front desk, really close to everything in ottawa, good breakfast buffet , pool, etc. Just make sure when you book your stay because parking and breakfast is not includedin the Price if it is not written on your réservation. "

The only comment would be that the service in the restaurant was below expectations. For instance, each time we visited for a meal or drink, it seemed that it took an extraordinary amount of time for a staff member to come to the table to ask us if we would like to start with a beverage.
That being said, they were mostly pleasant. "
