I found stay at Tru very good. It's different than other hotels, with a central place to hangout, mingle, watch TV, play games; creates a very homely vibe. My only suggestion will be to have a coffee m/c in room. Being a morning coffee person, I found it too much effort to go down for coffee every morning.

Hotel is brand new at one year old. Hotel and room was clean and well maintained. Hot breakfast was two types of eggs, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal porridge, bread, bagels along with cereals, yogurt and beverages. Minutes from the town of Gananoque with lots of restaurants to choose from.

We had a great one-night stay.The best thing about the hotel is that it is newly built and well maintained. The breakfast was good, and the lobby area with board games was very kid-friendly. Although it is not a very large hotel, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is also convenient and close to many of the city’s attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your visit to the Thousand Islands.

Great hotel, felt like an oasis in the middle of. Nature. Went for a weekend trip to the 1000 islands. Complementary Breakfast was decent with various selections and coffee is available all day. Rooms are on the smaller end but they were clean and modern. Love the Lobby and it’s a great hangout space for groups or families.

I stayed here with my family during the Canada Day holiday, and I can confidently say it’s the best hotel in the area. It offers excellent value for money, and everything is new, modern, and exceptionally clean. The hotel also has great amenities, including a gym, a pool, and games in the lobby. I would definitely recommend staying here. The only downside is that the backup generator only powers the lobby, elevators, and hallways. During our stay, a tornado warning was issued and a severe storm caused a power outage throughout the entire town. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even offering us a refund if we preferred not to stay. However, since the outage affected the whole area, we decided to remain at the hotel, and the electricity was restored about two hours later. Breakfast is great too and the lobby has water, ice, coffee and tea 24/7.
