Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo - Shiodome

10/10 Excellent

"We actually stayed at the hotel for 9 days. We had to extend our initial stay by two days due to a cyclone which hit the Tokyo area. We have stayed in multi hotels in the Shiodome area previously, but not Villa Fontaine. To be honest Villa Fontaine will be our first choice for future visits to Ginza/Shiodome area. Rooms were well appointed, good size, well maintained and, as you would expect in Japan, very clean. Staff were also helpful in logistics with having to move into three rooms due to availability possibly an affect of the Cyclone. In summary, highly recommend this property!"

"The room was clean and the amenities were good. However, the Room size is shockingly small. The bed isn’t a King size bed, but rather about 4 feet wide, so not wide enough for 2 Adults to sleep comfortably. There’s barely any space to open a suitcase. The view from the room was good as well. The staff was friendly and helped us with Luggage forwarding and any queries we had. Check-in and check-out were smooth."

"1st time staying in Shinjuku. I wanted to be close to the clubs and nightlife action. I had a beautiful view from my room facing the Godzilla hotel. I could also see the Tokyo skytree from a distance. Great place, I would happily stay here again."
