I have stayed at the Diamond many times and it always is great. There are of course some post-pandemic features that have changed but all in all it is still my go to hotel while in the Metro Manila area. The hotel is 30 years old, but they do spend to keep it refreshed as much as is possible. I like the location as I can walk to everything I need and do not have to get stuck in Manila traffic when needing to go out and about.

Should bring back ballet parking. Heat load is extreme in the car park, not good for health, almost passed out when i came down the stairwell. Too hot.

Air-conditioning was terrible. Place felt 60 years old and you could still smell smoke. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Tourist trap hotel.
