First time to Philippines. 17 day trip. Stayed in three different 5-star hotels in Makati and a dive resort in Mabini. The Manila Hotel experience is head and shoulders above all the others. It’s the only one I want to go back to. It’s probably going to make all of the hotels I stay at in the future seem inferior.

The staff go out of their way to be nice to everyone. I would recommend this hotel. I would also recommend to lessen the buffet options and bring down the charge for lunch and dinner. Not a lot of guests eat like that with a price to match. Overall, the hotel is grand as it should be with perhaps a change in carpet in heavy traffic areas like hallways and function rooms. The hotel is iconic so overall, I would stay here again. And recommend that you do so too!!!

After this trip, I don't know if I can stay anywhere else in Manila. The mixture of old world architecture and charm, combined with all the amenities of a modern luxury hotel coupled with amazing, attentive and friendly staff blew me away. Best Hotel in Ermita close to Intramuros

Nice Hotel combining 1900's style and excellent service. Breakfast is stunning. Room are spacious and location is great to visit Intramuros (Manila old colonial district). Swimming pool is appreciated although there is sometime lack of available seats.
