This hotel is a fabulous little gem just 5-minute’s walk from both Paddington Station and beautiful Hyde Park. Excellent location. The rooms are elegant and charming. I booked two rooms at this property based on the excellent reviews. Arrived around 9 PM. I had booked two King rooms. One of the rooms was a king room and the other room was two twin beds pushed together and what would be their twin room, which was in considerably worse shape. When I went down to the lobby to say I had booked a king room not two twin beds pushed together with a topper. The gentleman at the front desk told me that that’s just how rooms are in London however, my daughters who were in the other room had the king bed that we booked. I was exhausted from the flight and we were only there two nights so did not feel like arguing the point, especially since this is supposed to be a five star hotel. The room hadan extremely large stain on the window, shade and the curtain, and the gray carpet was stained with dirt.

The staff at Roseate House were all very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and stress free. The whole ambience was far from that of a large corporate and impersonal hotel. Can’t wait to return!

The hotel was lovely, staff very welcoming, booked a superior room which was small but nice and had everything we needed. A nice refreshing drink on arrival was a nice surprise and the breakfast although not included in the room rate was very good value and delicious.
