"We came here 4 years ago and it used to be such a great resort that we decided to return. However, it Was such a big disappointment. The staff were rude and not friendly. You couldnt even get someone to serve you in the evening at the bar (even though we were tipping a lot each time). The food was so horrible and got food poisoning on 3rd day, food was stale with very limited options. One of the worse vacations thus far despite the large price tag of the trip. Do not recommend at all! "

"I had an amazing experience at Ocean El Faro! The resort itself is absolutely beautiful — clean, relaxing, and full of great amenities. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the exceptional service. A huge thank you to Carlos Enrique, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Carlos truly represents what great hospitality should be — professional, caring, and genuine. Because of his outstanding service and the overall wonderful atmosphere, I’m giving Ocean El Faro a well-deserved 5 stars. I can’t wait to come back again!"
