Ocean El Faro Resort - All Inclusive

"This is our third time visiting Ocean El Faro, and overall, it is a good hotel with many positive things to offer. Our concierge, Miguel, was a 10/10! He was excellent and helped us with everything we needed throughout our stay. He checked on us every day and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The bartenders, Dauris and Omar, also provided excellent service. They were very friendly & attentive. At the coffee shop, Chabela made our visit especially enjoyable, her kindness really stood out. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The hotel’s beach is not the best and, in my opinion, is not very suitable for swimming. I also believe the pools are in need of some renovation, as there are a lot of loose tiles that could potentially cut or injure a guest. The empty spaces where the tiles are missing also tend to accumulate mold. Dolce Vita and Bluemoon had excellent food and service. Unfortunately, our Steak House experience was disappointing. We waited over 1.5 hours for our food, received dishes we did not order, and were told, “that’s what was left.” The food also seemed rushed and poorly prepared. The hotel offers great entertainment, including bowling, archery, a lazy river, and fun evening bingo. There is also a snack bar by the lazy river, but it does not provide utensils for guests. The rooms are comfortable. Overall, there are areas for improvement, but we had a good experience and would return. Miguel, Dauris & Chabela made our stay better"

"We liked having a butler who was very friendly. Upon arrival, we didn't feel very special with maybe a drink offering, but our butler fixed that and brought us sparkling wine to our room. House keeping is great. Room service is confusing. The rooms are strange with the bathtub in the middle of the room in the swim out room. Some of the interior paint was a bit old.We enjoyed our swimming pool outside our room once the two other occupants left for more privacy. Food was good at the adults only portion. Pools were nice on the resort. Beach had lots of red seaweed which threw us off since we love swimming in the ocean. A lot of vendors walking around the beach to sell stuff too which can ruin relaxation."

"Our stay at Excellence El Carmen was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere immediately made us feel like we were truly on vacation. we were greeted with champagne and our bags were taken by the concierge, Check in was quick and easy. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and has such a peaceful tropical feel that makes it easy to disconnect from everyday life and simply enjoy the moment. One of my favorite things was the overall location and atmosphere. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, walking around the property, enjoying the scenery, or just taking in the beautiful surroundings, there was always something that made the experience feel special. What I appreciated most was being able to slow down, relax, laugh, make memories, and genuinely enjoy the time away. Sometimes a vacation is more than just where you stay; it’s about how you feel while you're there, and Excellence El Carmen gave us exactly the experience we needed. We left with beautiful memories and an even greater appreciation for the time we spent there. I would absolutely recommend Excellence El Carmen to anyone looking for a beautiful adults-only getaway with an amazing atmosphere. Thank you for such a memorable experience. "Majestic Mirage Punta Cana is priced to be a terrific bargain for an all-inclusive. It is very similar to the Excellence properties but I found Majestic Mirage Punta Cana's staff to be very welcoming and engaging, more so than at any other property I have stayed at. We will definitely return there!"
