"Loved our stay here for 9 nights in February. The hotel is clean, welcoming, well equipped and staff are friendly and helpful. Only 7 min walk to Havelock MRT on the TE Line which is super convenient for attractions, a 10min walk to the scenic riverfront or Tiong Bahru Hawker (and bakery!) and an easy 20 min walk to Chinatown. The 7-11 downstairs is so handy, huge pool with plenty of lounges, beautiful waterfall lounge and spacious lobby with fast lifts. We stayed in a Deluxe Room which was really spacious with big windows and good blackout shutters, and excellent value when we booked a non-refundable deal at half price. A decent breakfast buffet and dinner buffet are well presented and good value when booked through the hotel directly (only $15 and $30). Would definately stay here and again and recommend to others."

"Our stayed at Paradox Singapore Merchant were perfect. The location was perfect, close to everything. Hotel is super nice and staffs were wonderful. Will definitely stay again if we go back to Singapore. "

"Great hotel with Somerset MRT directly underneath, we took a Grab on arrival £13 to hotel but going back to the airport we were well versed with using the MRT after 4x days of visiting, so we took the MRT back £2! Hotel has a great rooftop pool open till 10pm & the rooms were immaculate with daily cleaning. The hotel were aware of our birthday’s & we had a large bed decoration & treats provided for us on arrival, our hotel mirror had hand decorations/artworks from the hospitality team…. Just a fabulous experience. We ate breakfast in the shopping centre below the hotel everyday (Tim Hortin’s & bakery’s & others, there is so much choice of eating & clothes shopping if you forget anything & a 7/11 for water, juice etc). "One of the most comfortable bed/pillows I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a waffle maker providing a real morning treat. The only slight downsides were a noisy bathroom drain and a fixed shower head pointing directly at the shower door meant that the bathroom floor got wet. Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days, but fresh towels, tea and coffee sachets are always available"
