The staff were excellent, the property was very clean. The details in the room could be improved, the shower door had a large gap and the bathroom floor got water puddles each time it was used which meant we had to use our towels to dry the floor, the toilet paper used was not five star quality it was one ply which meant we needed to use much more then if it was a two or three ply. The first night we checked in, the light switch for the bathroom stopped working we turned the light on but could not turn it off, the staff came up quickly and fixed it, however, a hotel at this level should have a system in place to monitor proper functioning of the rooms between guests. These may seem like small things but they are the memories that leave with the guests!

The hotel itself was excellent. Sadly, the staff weren’t always so helpful - but always friendly. Some inconsistencies with room service during my stay: coffee arriving cold, wrong order, no condiments - that sort of thing. I had a massage at the spa and my masseuse was truly a magician (thanks again)! One thing that I did struggle with is the caged birds in reception. Granted they were there all day, but still, they did bounce around their cages which was sad to see.

We loved our stay at the hotel. We had an Urban Suite for our stay which was amazing. The only issue we had was for a very large room there was very little storage for unpacked clothes.

Lack of communication between manager and employee. guest service agent on the phone were helpless, reject everything when first ask, for example: ask if room is ready? Answer: no,at least one and half hour later. When I mentioned I saw a room was ready. He changed immediately said yes there’s a room ready….. the manger was promised sth, when I called on the phone, still got no no we don’t provide this. After I mentioned promise from manger, the answer changed to yes. ( no message put in the system??) Also bedleg was loosing it was like a teeter board. Bathroom door cannot be closed properly….. awful experience ever

There was a mix up with the pre booked taxi from the airport, not the hotel’s responsibility, which meant we arrived at the hotel very tired after an overnight flight from London. The receptionist was so helpful and arranged for us to have early access to our room, which had a great view over the bay. There was a very good selection at breakfast. Overall we had a fantastic stay and really appreciated the staff who were very polite and helpful.

From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional. Yarik went above and beyond during our check-in process and stay ensuring everything was perfect including accommodating a later check-out due to our flight time and providing the perfect room for us. The hotel itself is immaculate and has all the amenities you could want, the atrium is gorgeous and the breakfast was great (according to my wife it was one of the best she has had and we travel a lot!) Location wise there is so much around within a short walk and marina bay itself has so much to explore. This will be our hotel for every visit to Singapore from now on.
