"Special mention to Parkroyal Pickering where we stayed at for the past three nights coz we were renovating our bedroom. Despite my concern about never sleeping well in hotels, this hotel proved me wrong by providing a home away from home. It was super comfortable and enjoyable, and we all slept well until 8-9am not knowing the time coz the blinds kept the room so dark and woozy 😂 We also made full use of the junior suite that came with a separate living space. We had dinner for two nights inside coz we were simply too tired after all the walking during the day. The view was great as well, we spent the nights pointing out landmarks and spotting the river. Service was prompt and personalized - and breakfast was the most awesome coz it is counter service, back to the good old days! "
