"Ishiahara is now my new favorite place in the world. The Ryokan at first seems humble, but the design, layout, and hospitality of it made me feel as if I was staying at the most luxurious hotel in the world. I look forward to staying here again!"
"Absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Muso. We truly enjoyed our host, Ryo's energy and they honestly could not do enough for us. Great location, rooms are spacious by Japanese standards and perfectly clean. I couldn't recommend them more - you will not be disappointed"
"Beautiful accommodation with all the extras. In a great location, walking distance to the market & lots of places to eat. We would definitely stay here again. The only drawback was the dryer took along time to dry, but the hotel provided a clothes horse which was handy. "

"This hotel is in an amazing location and the staff provides excellent service. It’s close to North-South metro lines and the Nishiki Market. Lots to see and do within walking distance. Also pretty easy to take a train to Uji from here. Make sure to reserve a time for the private spa, unforgettable experience."
"Great location with easy access to different parts of the city , staff were really friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel for anyone planning on staying in the area"
"The hotel was very clean and they cleaned it every day. The facilities were great. The staff were also very helpful in getting an item shipped to me that I forgot in the room after checkout."
"We stayed at this hotel in both Kyoto & Osaka. Both have onsens but these felt superior. The massage chairs were also a great boost to what they offer and staff was great and helpful.
At a great location and a place I would absolutely return to when back in Kyoto.
Can be a bit busy during peak hours but still find times to take advantage of amenities. "
"The hotel was great, it was pretty central to a bunch of shopping and it was also close to alot of bus stops and stations. it wasn't more than a 15 minute walk to the farthest stations we needed to get to where wanted. Some where just right there near the hotel. It's basically in the center of a shopping area with clothes, animal cafe's knifes food stalls.
They also had pretty good free coffee and surprisingly free sake (which we didn't really part take of but it was a nice surprise.) The staff was also very nice and helpful when needed."
Come to this market in the heart of the city to experience the authentic sights, smells and sounds of the bartering vendors and their traditional food.
