Loved the jungle ambience. Great dinner restaurant and breakfast restaurant within 100 ft. the owner Skip is very personable. We went to Xcaret which is 5 mins by car.

I never leave reviews but I think it's necessary. My daughter and I were traveling alone and also don't speak spanish unfortunately. There were times where we got ourselves into a pickle and the property owners went so above and beyond to help, it was incredibly meaningful. Ester and Skip were both so kind and generous, it makes this property stand out from any other place we went on our vacation. The Hacienda itself is 5 minutes from Xcaret, so you are so close to the action, but the location of the space is tucked away in a little rainforest. It is so beautiful and calming, I just felt very lucky to have found it. I can't recommend the hotel....almost an B&B enough. There is also a beautiful little bakery 2 steps down from the Hacienda with incredible Sourdough breads and cinnamon rolls. It's just a very special place.

This hotel is beautiful when it comes to the vibes, the aesthetic, and overall atmosphere. But don’t let that fool you. I’d only recomend staying here if you want roaches in your room, creepy vibes, and bad management. After complaining not once but twice of cockroaches in the bathroom, crawling all over my toothbrush and other articles, I was only given a new toothbrush and toothpaste and two free breakfast meals at the nearby breakfast restaurant. The next night I found more and took pictures, videos, and showed proof The Whom is in charge, asking for some sort of explanation and reimbursement for the nights that we had to deal with this issue. We got no message or reply back from them. Truly terrible, and going out at night is creepy too, it’s very hidden and you’ll probably have troubles finding it at first. You’ll have random spiders appearing out of nowhere, deer outside staring you. They also have a weird electrical system, I thought it was broken at first but there’s this strange pattern you need to do to turn some lights on. We also had ac issues but we’re fixed fortunately. I would recommend staying at a more known hotel, or a similar place with a bit more people and building surrounding it

La habitación estába muy linda, limpia y cómoda. El señor Skip fue muy atento y amable. Su perrito 🐶 Doobie ❤️ es un encanto. La piscina me encantó. Definitivamente pienso regresar pronto. Voy a extrañar mucho este lugar 💚

Las fotos no le hacen justicia al lugar, es simplemente hermoso. Nos toco un cuarto precioso frente a la piscina en el segundo piso pero la primera noche fue incómodo por que teniamos un sliding door sin cortinas y el agua tenia un olor feo. El dueño fue muy atento, nos cambio de cuarto y el resto de los dias fueron perfectos. Disfrutamos de la piscina, tenemos fotos muy lindas y estabamos cerca de todo. Lo recomiendo si busca tranquilidad.
