"I enjoyed my stay at Hatoya hotel Ikebukuro. While not glamorous, the room was clean, comfortable and walking distance from the station and the centre of
Ikebukuro. It was the perfect place to base myself for a day of sightseeing around Tokyo. The manger and staff were were friendly and helpful. The manager even allowed me to check in when I arrived early which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely consider staying at Hatoya hotel again. "

"My fourth time i have stayed here. I enjoyed my stay again. Always a clean room, quiet. Laundry facilities where busy though but that’s not the hotels fault."
"The rooms were clean and mostly ALL (unfortunately, we encountered one female front desk agent who was "not so helpful" when getting info on the lobby wifi password. we'll keep her unnamed) the staff are friendly.
We especially like to recognize "Loc" and MITSUI (front desk agents), who were extra helpful and courteous throughout our stay. They went the extra mile to assist in our simple needs. We travel often and these employees were exceptional. MITSUI graciously helped us to communicate in Japanese with our pocket Wifi vendor to rectify a Wifi issue which was super helpful and Loc was eager to offer any information we needed of the area and hotel, along with other assistance. The room cleaning staff were also very pleasant to see in the morning, always offering a pleasant comment. Rooms were clean, property in general clean, and located 3minutes from the Higashi Shinjuku Station. The staff is the highlight of the hotel, and the hotel is managed well in accommodations for the guests, such as vending machines, a variety of extra amenities accessible at a station near the front desk. Overall. the Granbell Hotel is a very nice place to stay. We look forward to staying there again."
"Second time booking at Knot. First was during Tokyo Marathon. I will book again when I visit Tokyo. It may be a bit of a walk to Shinjuku Station but the place is not chaotic which I prefer. The restaurant at the second floor is very good too aside from the bread they sell at the lobby. "
"This was a great location. The room was super clean and well equipped for our stay. The staff went above and beyond. Definitely get the access to the Lounge. "
