I wasn’t aware the Hotel is in the red light district. That makes us uncomfortable and not so safe. The Hotel is the best one around this area. We asked to be change of rooms because the first one was so small and not quite clean. The second room that we stay was much better. The staff was always ready to help with a good manner. The restaurant breakfast was great many options and even for westerners. We really enjoy it. The hotel only has two washer/dryer machines to do laundry so if you want to do laundry you have to stand and wait for one to be free and it takes 2 hours to do it.

Our stay there was lovely. There was a mixup with ordering us a taxi when we departed and although the front desk confirmed that we were all set the night before we did not actually have a taxi reservation. The front desk knew this when we came down for the taxi, but hadn’t bothered to tell us so we arrived for our train barely in the knick of time. A mere phone call to our room would have prevented our panic. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

Good location, lovely staff and overall, great amenities. We were lucky enough to have a room with a small kitchen and washing machine, which made it convenient to do laundry. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Also, the breakfast option was very good.

I stayed at two hotels in Tokyo. This was the 1st. Our view was work every dime. The room was big by Japanese standards. I absolutely loved that we had a dedicated sitting area with a sofa and coffee table. Our wall was a window so the views were exceptional. 7 eleven and Lawson’s are close by. They have a laundromat but it was constantly being used. The front desk directed me to another off hotel laundromat and it was very close and super convenient. Very walkable to the center of SHINJUKU, the bus is very close by as well as the subway. I loved that they had a ton of vending machines for you convenience and money changing machine too. The only thing that was difficult was getting to the hotel and back to the airport. Taxi is your best bet and that cost around $120 each way. We took the limousine bus but once it drops you off you’ll need to take a cab to the hotel-not super convenient. We didn’t take it back to the airport because we didn’t want to deal with having to find a pick up location for the limousine bus.

It's really close to Shinjuku. So if you want to explore this area, staying at this hotel is definitely a good option. The cleanness is just okay and there are other hotels in this area that are a lot closer to the subway station.

This is like the only decent hotel in that area while all others nearby are “love hotels”. Our room has a double bed plus loft which I thought we could have total 3 people (everything in the room was a set of 3 such as towels, tooth brushes, shampoo….and so on) but the staff insisted that only allowed maximum 2 people… which I don’t understand the reasoning
