"The staff is so sweet. They provide umbrellas when it rains. They are very polite and always great you upon arrival whenever you return to the hotel. Love their music in the lobby and people socialize in the lobby in this big comfy couches and communal table. Love it here, they make you feel at home,"

"Pros: right next to the Seibu-Shinjuku train station which had a Starbucks and Krispy Kreme. Also right across the street for several little restaurants, McDonalds and a 7-Eleven. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: there was very limited storage (eg no closets, drawers) for our clothes. There was an open clothes rack with hangers but we just ended up keeping things in our suitcase. The shower curtain didn’t extend all the way around the tub so we’d have to use our towels to soak up the water on the floor anytime one of us showered. Our room wasn’t ready at the 1:00pm check in time. We were asked to wait in the lounge area for about 15 minutes but the staff person was very apologetic and even gave us some pretty chocolates candies for the wait."

"The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient. However, the room felt quite small for two people (one adult and one child). One downside was the elevator situation. Between 9:00–10:00 AM, the elevators were extremely busy, resulting in long wait times. At night, it was even worse. Noise was another issue. Almost every night, we could hear police cars and ambulance sirens, which made it difficult to rest. I suppose this is one of the drawbacks of staying in the heart of the red-light district, where there are many bars surrounding the hotel. The neighborhood also felt less appealing in the early morning. Around 8:00 AM, when walking to the nearby 7-Eleven for breakfast, we often saw trash scattered along the streets while sanitation workers were busy cleaning up from the night before. The laundry facilities were another inconvenience. There is only one washer and one dryer available on the 28th floor, and the wait time was very long. The dryer was not very effective either—it took about two hours to dry our load, and the clothes were still only about 85% dry afterward. Overall, we had a good experience, mainly because of the hotel's great location. However, I would recommend it more for solo travelers or couples without children, especially if you do not plan to use the laundry facilities."
