"Tiny even for NYC standards. Had to put luggage in the bathroom. The staff was so noisy at all hours. The elevator takes forever. They don’t even offer coffee in the lobby in the morning. Literally nothing good to say "

"I did not realize how strict the rules are for your bedroom. No food, no talking on your phone, etc. within your own room. And there was no ceiling, it was similar to a dressing room where every room could hear what the room next to you was doing. It didn't feel like there was any privacy."

"Cash only. Missing smoke detector. Water constantly dripping from the shower handle. Tiny TV with like 4 channels. You can watch Dog the Bounty Hunter in the morning, if you want. Really though, this is not the kind of place you book for a trip, it's the kind of place you book for a single night if you meet somebody on a night out & don't have a place to go. It's the best price you'll find in the area, probably because it's cash only, but it's got no illusions about what it is. And the area is fantastic, so I'd recommend it if you know what you're getting into and only need a bed to sleep in. Despite all the fallbacks, the only thing that actually bothered me was the massive cockroach in the sink on my last morning there. Everything else is acceptable for what it is."
