"Great spot. A minute walk to 5th Avenue. It’s in the center so expect to be loud during night due to music coming from bars around the area but it is manageable. Clean room, food and friendly service from staffs. I highly recommend."

"Had a great trip to Mexico, hotel was clean, pools were great. Not all the entertainment was for me but lots of variety for everyone, games, activities, shows and music. My real negative with the Viva Maya was with the staff. Check in was slow 2 desks working, lots of paperwork and questions. Sadly I had an awful interaction with 2 of the staff Antonio and Meses. I really needed assistance one afternoon both were really unhelpful and rude. Antonio was threw his arms up at me and Meses told me...

"EN general muy bien en las instalaciones, pero hay un tema importante: el desayuno deja mucho que desear, ha bajado muchísimo la calidad de los alimentos. Y por cierto los jugos de naranja que ofrecen saben a plástico, son demasiado artificiales."

"The location of the hotel is great, in a more quiet part of the fifth street, very close to good restaurants and beach. The staff is generally great, except for the breakfast team. Unfortunately the breakfast is not great at all, very limited, and the breakfast staff is flat-out rude and have no standards for service. Would not recommend to pay extra for daily breakfast, the hotel should focus more on the rooms and guest service instead of trying to upsell breakfast, if this is not a priority."
