"The pool and view of the roof top, the location, and the rooms were amazing! However the service is horrible. The rooftop bar has a selection of over priced, mediocre food and they charge for any add ons like ice, cups and water. They claim that the rooftop bar is independent from the rest of the hotel. We had problems with towel service, we would ask the front desk for fresh beach and shower towels and after hours and going back multiple times we wouldn’t get them. So if you dont plan on using...

Only issue I didn’t like was the entrance, you have to enter through a tequila shop and after hours late at night, you just have to hope the security guard is there to let you in. I didn’t have an issue during my stay, but I prefer knowing I can come and go as I please whenever with a hotel that has a 24/7 front desk."

There are some very nice outdoor spaces, a plunge pool, and the room is well appointed comfortable. There’s a Roku TV, a coffeemaker, refrigerator, hot plate, breakfast bar, AC, even a book shelf with books. when you’re in Playa, you probably won’t spend much time in your room, but it’s nice to have a comfy, affordable option...
