"The hotel was excellent. Beautiful building with historic features throughout. We loved the 'lodge-style' room in the courtyard, brilliantly quiet and well decorated. Clean and modern with great facilities including: iron and ironing board, tea/coffee tray and in-room safe. The TV was a large wide-screen. Would have wanted a second bedside table as one was missing but that's being picky! Would definitely stay again as the location a short walk from the station and Mickelgate was ideal!"

Dining options allow formal or informal dining. The Spa offers good quality treatments and the whole experience left me refreshed, relaxed and delighted to have spent time there.
