"Fantasticly clean, well kept and friendly staff. The breakfast has a great variety of pastries, cereal to a full English. The bar is well stocked with a good variety of drinks and the bar menu is a great addition. Free WiFi is excellent. Only downfall was the height of the bed as my mum struggled to get up off it but we managed and it didn't damper our stay. We love it here and will return as we have before. "

"Lovely place, nice room and breakfast. The spa was good (didn't try the gym). From a distance the grounds looked good but it was winter and dusk when we arrived so didn't see fully. The staff were outstanding, so friendly and courteous. Good location, 9 minutes drive from the park and ride. I'm only going to rate them 4.9 out of 5 though, as I'll deduct 0.1 points for no baked beans with my full Yorkshire breakfast ;)"

"Welcomed by friendly Front Desk member. Enjoyed a cocktail at lounge while waiting for room. Check-in was easy and quick, room clean and one we requested. Stay was very nice. Good dinner in restaurant. Would return and recommend. Just across the bridge from Shambles for Christmas shopping, Minster, park, river walk and other sites of interest. "
