Anither great stay with very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and tidy with a great tea tray, jammie dodgers all the way! Bed was comfy with plenty of pillows and cushions, great view of the park. Breakfast buffet was really good quality and lots of choice. Iverall a fantastic stay was had :)

Lovely hotel. In a fantastic location right by the entrance of Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Worth paying the extra for a room at the back looking out over the Maned Wolves and Lar Gibbons. We loved watching the animals from our room. Beds were comfy, shower was great and the toiletries smelt lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Was also a reasonable price unlike other zoo hotels which can cost £1000s. (We went midweek in September when the schools have gone back).

I’ve stayed in the Hex home many times now. I love visiting the Yorkshire Wildlife Park & try to go for a couple of days at a time. Staying on the site is ideal. The hotel is comfortable with everything you would expect. If you have a room overlooking the park you can often watch the gibbons, wolves or the new penguin arrivals. The bistro next door has a good buffet breakfast to set you up for a lot of walking in YWP. The reception staff are lovely - welcoming & helpful.

Lovely hotel, modern rooms, great A/C Booked a park view. Could see two enclosures from the room which was great. Ate in the bistro, average food. Breakfast was average too. If you stay at the hotel you can get discounted zoo entry tickets. Zoo was fab!

Lovely hotel! Very cool location! I would say helpful to have a car to get about, although I did see bus services. Very quiet which was lovely and lots of cafes etc on the premises. Staff also very helpful and kind.

We stayed in one of the family rooms overlooking the park. The rooms were comfy, clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly. Our room looked onto the park, with views of the animals which the kids were delighted about. We had breakfast included. There was plenty of choice, albeit the quality of the food wasn't the best. That said, there was lots of space, and helpful staff. The hotel was perfectly situated for us. Overall a great stay.
