Outstanding property with an excellent staff. Restaurant was amazing. Great onsen.
My wife and i spent an incredible 6 nights here for our wedding anniversary. From the location to the staff and amazing amenities, i could not fault a single thing.
The rooftop onsen was spectacular and welcome after a big day walking around tokyo
Room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff were all very helpful and attentive. Hotel is nicely located to be able to access every major Tokyo train line.
Highly recommend. The staff is superb, the room was well taken care of and very comfortable. The onsen is incredible. My wife and i stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We did in-room breakfast which was delicious, we also enjoyed one night of their dinning experience in the basment. The proximity to the train station is very convenient as well! I felt well taken care of and that the stay was worth the money. Thank you, Hoshinoya!
Had a lovely stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo - everything exceeded our expectations (attention to detail, gracious staff/hosts, beautiful interiors and exteriors), we hope to be back again!
The service is way over the top and the traditional atmosphere is very inviting and serene. Rooms are spacious by all standards and the Onsen (being in the middle of Tokyo) is just amazing, elegant and yet traditional.
This was a remarkable experience! From the moment you are greeted at the door of the hotel, you leave the hustle and bustle of Tokyo behind and you are immersed in an authentic ryokan experience. The private onsen on the top floor of the building really sets this hotel apart from other luxury hotels in Tokyo. The quality of the staff was excellent throughout, and although this hotel is in the main business district it is right next to the Otemachi metro station and about 15 min walk to the main Tokyo station so the transport links are excellent.
The finest luxury hotel we have ever stayed in—truly deserving of full marks in every way. The staff were exceptionally attentive, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. We enjoyed a traditional ryokan breakfast and dined at Sushi Otemon Omakase—both experiences exceeded all expectations and were simply unforgettable.
The onsen was divine, beyond words, offering pure relaxation and serenity. Guest hospitality was impeccable throughout, and the architecture and interior design are nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, it was a fully immersive aesthetic experience.
If you’re looking for a 5-star hotel in Tokyo, this is the one to choose—highly recommended.
Wonderful hotel!
Well-located, close to everything, yet so peaceful.
Interior is splendid, refined, clean, welcoming.
Staff is helpful, polite and diligent.
Room is a haven, out of this world and time.
Would definitely recommend!
Super nice hotel. Missing a more western breakfast. Excellent service. Missed information about what was available in the lounge as well as the TV only had japanese letters - we never figured out how to use it. All in all a super recommendable hotel.
