For me it is a very convenient location, near the station and the sorts of places I frequent when I'm in Tokyo. Akihabara is not known for its night life, it tends to close down pretty early, so the surrounding area is usually quiet in the evenings, but that also means late night or early morning dining options are limited.

Walking distance to Akihabara train station and subway or metro station and surrounded with restaurants in every corner . Japan is a very safe place The area is next to a shopping mostly electronic specializing manga anime etc

Just able to walk around the area knowing the hotel wasn’t too far and still being able to do a lot of stuff.
