"The bathroom was inferior. There was not enough room to enter the shower. The positioning was horrid. I asked if we could be relocated to another room but it was not possible. I booked a stay at Mecure in Paddington where I had stayed previously. My son stayed at Point A but showered at my hotel after burning his arm on the metal bar between the faucets in the shower at Point A. This was the first time I have been disappointed in a room I have booked through Expedia."

The only detractor was location, and that's only in that the closest tube station is a 10-minute walk, and if you or someone you are travelling with has accessibility issues, that walk can feel like a task. Otherwise, the location is great, the rooms are quiet, and the staff was of great help and support! "

"Overall great experience at Strand Palace. Fabulous location in Covent Garden with access to restaurants, stores, theatre and three different Underground stations each within 1/4. Lovely, clean and updated rooms and lobby. Staff very helpful. Breakfast great and plentiful. I would stay again there for sure. "

"The beds in this place are of poor quality, we had two room moves made no difference. Cannot fault location or restaurant on site. Parking is £40 a night. "
