The location is unbeatable! The hotel has been renovated and it is nice. The only issue we had is with noise from next door or outside the room. It is not too sound proof. We can hear the noise fairly easily. Other than that, the hotel service and room conditions are quite satisfactory.
Great location with many of the locals sites and tube stations easily accessible by walking. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but smaller than US hotels but not too bad for Europe. Building is in good repair, though the plumbing and heating systems make some funny noises throughout the night. Would definitely stay at The Strand Palace again if we return to London.
