The hotel itself was 3 of the row houses converted. They left the old English charm inside. The location of the hotel is just a 4 minute walk to the underground-which made getting around easy. The breakfast was fantastic and served the classic English food plus cereals, breads, pastries, cold cuts. We would stay here again.

Lovely old renovated building, substantial room, comfortable bed. The staff were extremely friendly. Excellent location. Adequate breakfast. It would have been good to have a mini fridge in the room and an extra topsheet as the weather was warm. Some more outside seating would also gave been nice. Definitely recommend this hotel.

This traditional hotel has seen better days. Rooms are worn and not modernized for a while. Ground floor room were humid and had no A/C. The toilet niche extremely narrow and difficult to use. Good breakfast, but crowded during breakfast time.

I love my stay at this Hotel .from first step a very friendly receptionist and small elevator for carrying my luggage ( I am 72 and solo traveler) close by super store and restaurant and most importantly half a minute to underground station very safe and quiet area and actually reasonable price for a good place to stay.

This hotel is conveniently located near the Swiss Cottage tube, family room very spacious, friendly service and ample choice for breakfast. It’s an old building so expect creaking floors and appearance to be a little tired in places. Great value for room size and location.

The weather was rainy and cold.But the hotel is real close to the underground which made it nice. There is a nice lebanese restaurant right around the corner and a well supplied mini mart. The bar at the hotel is a convenient amenity.And the breakfast is reasonably priced and good.

The location was one block from a metro stop. The neighborhood was quaint and safe. The hotel was an old residence or brownstone like apartment building. The stairs were narrow and the doors to the room was wooden and not sturdy. I had to place a chair under the door knob for extra protection. The fact it was a former apartment building made the facility feel more like a bed and breakfast and not a hotel

The hotel is beautiful, the personnel is very kind and efficient. The rooms get cleaned every morning and they even give you tea sets every single day! The atmosphere is fantastic, it feels like you're staying at a Victorian hotel. There's a Jubilee Underground station very close to it as well, many fast foods and supermarkets. Overall it was a very pleasant experience!

Family stay

The hotel lobby is very nice but the rooms are a little old and need of a little paint and fixing. The rooms don’t have a/c but not a big deal since the weather never got above 68F. The location is close to train and some restaurants but if looking to go to central London it can get expensive from this location. I enjoyed the peace and quiet after a long day and very safe for families.
